After going on the hospital tour last Sunday my husband and I are feeling that this experience is coming soon and we better start getting prepared! After all, there are only 5 weeks left until the expected due date and truly you never know. Most of the women I know have had to be induced because they were past due date; but some, (including my cousin last week!) who go early. My cousin was due two weeks before me and gave birth only a few days ago. Both Mom and baby are happy and healthy! I'm so excited for them and I must admit, jealous too! I'm ready to meet my little lovey! Haha and I won't deny that I'm miserable and uncomfortable and selfishly and ready to start feeling some normalcy again! Point being, my husband and I need to start packing our bags and I need to learn how to put the car seat in my car. I keep putting off packing because it still does seem so far away. I know if my water does break I'm going to be a mess but I really want to stay calm so if it's in the middle of the night I can go ahead and take a shower - after all, you never know when the next one may be! We live 25 minutes from the hospital and my husband is freaking out that if for some reason the labor is quite quick something may happen on the way to the hospital! LOL...but I guess since every woman is different you never know. Lots of anxieties and worries as the date gets closer...
