Do you like to eat soup for lunch or dinner especially during the winter? I sometimes do and I have such difficulty finding a soup that is both low in fat and SODIUM. There are soups that are fairly low in fat with low sodium, however, the serving size is only one cup. ONE CUP. That means if I had chicken noodle soup I'm basically filling up on broth. That does not fill me up, nor does it curb my appetite for long. Since a serving size is only one cup I have pretty much given up on the idea of soup. I don't enjoy not feeling satiated. My friend recommended I try a frozen soup that you can buy at Kroger called Tabatchnick. It's only 90 calories and 4.0g fat with 390mg sodium. 1 pouch in the box is a serving size. It is absolutely delicious! It was low-fat and even though it wasn't a lot of soup, something about the spinach and cream was very filling. I was completely full until dinner rolled around! I'm hoping that our grocery store starts to carry more flavors...the brand even has macaroni and cheese which is also low-fat. I'm very impressed!
