Pregnancy advice today? Many women get acid reflux which makes their hearts burn and creates a lot nausea. I started thinking that this could be what I am suffering from - I am almost always nauseous after EVERY meal and end up burping it up for about an hour (gross, I know). The funny thing is, if I do burp up what I just ate typically I don't want to eat it ever again. Remember, the hummus blog? So, after talking to my pharmacist she said that Tums are safe for women who are pregnant. Yep, I've only been using them for two days when I have the symptoms and they work like a charm! Here's the downside my pregnant lady friends, they make you constipated. All the calcium in the Tums clogs you right up! So, if you don't want to experience an enema you'll have to wash those tasty Tums down with some Miralax...yum, yum! THURSDAY Breakfast- 3/4 cup of Bran cereal with 1/4 cup raisins 1 cup fat-free organic milk Lunch - 2 slices whole wheat toast, lettuce, fat-free mayo, tomato, and 1 slice low-fat cheddar Fat-free yogurt Snack - Peach Dinner - 1/8 homemade pizza with thin whole wheat crust, 1 g of fat pizza sauce, and fat-free cheese Snack - 100 cal pack
